Lori Duff is a photographer and graphic designer based in Vermont. Her work has been honored by Pictures of the Year International, NPPA Best of Photojournalism, Society for News Design and the New England Press Association. She has also been supported by grants from the Alexia Foundation for World Peace and the University of Missouri “Truth with a Camera” scholarship.
Her journalism career began at the age of 30 after working for a National Recreation Area, apprenticing as an actress at Actors Theatre and serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Ivory Coast. She studied English and Telecommunications at Indiana University and earned her Masters in Journalism at the University of Missouri.
Some of her clients have included the New York Times, the Appalachian Mountain Club, AP Images, Tufts University, Get Out magazine and the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation. Her work has appeared in publications including Popular Photography, the Washington Post and Women’s World Magazine.
